THE “DRIVE THRU” FROM VANDER GUITARS
From the combined creative forces of session & touring guitarist, music producer and music director Jemmuel Magtibay and Vander Guitars, comes the Drive Thru Dual Overdrive.
If all shades of light and dark are what is required for the gig, and pedalboard space is at a premium, this pedal has you covered!
The orange side is a take on a classic 4 knob transparent overdrive, known to not colour your tone, but rather enhance what you already have (which it does in droves!), with treble and bass controls consolidated into a single tone control.
The green side utilises cascading FET's to create a medium gain tone so familiar yet like no other! Even at its more extreme settings, it cleans up beautifully with the guitar's volume control or a lightening of the picking attack, but howls when you dig in!
If that's not quite enough for you, the Black Midnight Drive Thru comes with the option of midnight secret sauce...
What's in the secret sauce i hear you ask?
For starters a higher gain, and tighter green side that will cover anything from ACDC to hair metal!
The green side's tone stack has been reshaped to give a slightly more present midrange, still retaining its sparkly, transparent overtones.
Combined together... Well, you can probably figure that out... You're gonna have a good time!
