Hey there! I’m Jemmuel Magtibay, but you can call me Jem, Jemmy or even Jemmyjems for short!
I’m a professional musician and producer from Sydney, Australia. I love all things that feature music, creativity and community. I’m all about bringing my best in a project and to bring out the best in people no matter if I'm on stage or in the studio. I’ve had the incredible privilege of doing countless live shows, studio sessions, albums and touring. It’s been such a joy! My aim is to be able to inspire, empower and to cultivate creativity full of love and passion that it changes the world.
Music has always been my passion growing up and I’ve never seen myself or thought about doing anything else. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always had an instrument with me and it always gave me great joy whenever I heard the sound of music. My very first start in music came as a young child growing up in church as I was surrounded by so many musicians and instruments and that upbringing has helped me become who I am today. My first paid show that I got to play was “Hairspray” the musical as a 16 year old; a gig was offered to me by my senior high school music teacher. From that moment, my eyes were opened to the countless possibilities available in the realm of the music industry and that was when I decided that I wanted to do music professionally.
Through the years of my music profession, I’ve been part of multiple live productions, album releases, music videos, studio work as a session guitarist, live shows playing guitar, bass and drums, music directing at church events, touring overseas and even doing social media content creation for popular music related companies.
Music always gives me joy and it gives me even greater joy when I work with other people. Whether my role is a instrumentalist or a producer, I always seek to give value to others not just musically, but with my energy, passion and enthusiasm to help the goal of creating the best music possible. I’m here to offer the highest quality service to you and your musical endeavours. Making sure that everything is tailored to exactly what you need and beyond. Whether it’s on my instrument making parts for a song, or producing a track from scratch and coming up with ideas, to making your songs sound from good to incredible with my mixing or on the stage bringing stage presence, vibe and flare, I’ll be sure to offer you nothing but my best.
Music is a language which tells a story, a journey, a feeling, a moment and I seek to capture each of those emotions through what I do, what I play and with the people I encounter through music. Why do I do what I do? Because I absolutely LOVE it and I'm so passionate about music, creativity and people. I have such a zeal for what I love that I want to share this passion I have to others through what I do. I hope that if you choose to work with me for your live show, album release, studio session, guitar lesson or whatever it may be, I’ll be sure to bring all my passion, hard work, persistence, joy and energy. Music starts with an idea from the heart and mind and it’s a journey to make those ideas come to life. Based in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Passionheart studio was cultivated out of a desire to provide a space for creativity and opportunity. Passionheart studio is a music studio that is fully operated by Jemmuel Magtibay for music production, sessions, mixing, mastering and content creation. It is a place that is passionate about helping people unlock their creativity and achieving musical goals. The name “passionheart” was an idea by session musician and music producer Jemmuel Magtibay for the passion he has for music and his heart to see dreams and ideas from individuals come to life. Passionheart studio’s vision is to inspire, empower and cultivate creativity full of love that it changes the world.
